Settings

Modify FlazeBot behaviour and make it unique!

1. Settings info

Let's check what is currently configured with the information command:
  • /settings and then select "Info" from the list.

2. Settings djrank

Next, we want to setup a "DJ only" rank, so this way only one specified rank can play music, the others can't do something about this, only listening to the music.
  • /settings and then select "DJRank" from the list.
    • It will ask you to select a rank from the list of your server ranks.
FlazeBot takes ranks in 3 formats:

3. Settings language

Let's change FlazeBot's display language !
To change FlazeBot's language, you just need to type this command and specify the language you want. Be aware that we only have a few languages, not all of them!
  • /settings and then select "Language" from the list
    • It will ask you to select a language from a list of available languages.
      • Note: If your language is not displayed on the list, it means we don't support it. If you want to translate FlazeBot to a language that is not displayed, please visit us at discord.flazebot.com

en means English
fr means French
pt means Portuguese
de means German
ar means Arabic
The above options are meant to be used with prefix commands: +settings language <en/fr/pt/de/ar>
Note that all languages may not be fully translated!

4. Settings autoreconnect

Let's Automatically reconnect Flaze if it disconnects unintentionally from the voice channel.
  • /settings and then select "AutoReconnect".
Note that you can disable this option this way:
  • /settings and then select "AutoReconnect" (first it needs to be enabled)

5. Settings restricted channels

Let's restrict commands to be sent in a specific channel only.
  • /settings and then select "Restricted Channels" from the list.
    • It will ask you to select up to 2 channels in a list of your Discord channels.
    • Afterwards, it will ask you if you want to send a message if a command is executed in channel other than the restricted channels.

Note that if you want to select only one channel, you can click out of the list to exit the channels selection.

6. Settings restricted voice channels

Example of the settings restricted channels command. Here we have to select 1-2 channels that will be restricted.

7. Settings changelog

  • /settings and then select "Changelog" from the list
    • It will ask you which channel to you want to send FlazeBot changelogs. You just have to select a channel from the list.
